Kai got creative with Great-Grandma’s pencils. She found a box and got permission to draw on it. But instead of drawing quietly like we thought she might do, Kai decided to jab the point through the box over and over until she had the position just right. She got each pencil in at her desired place and sat in it. Then we realized that she wasn’t being destructive but rather she had made herself a boat with some oars to row it with.

Kai likes to “help” with Mommy’s yoga workouts, usually making it difficult to finish.  During this workout, we realized we need to watch what we say here on out.

At her birthday party, Kai edged her friend Edyta out of her piece of the birthday cake.  We then realized that she had the propensity to bully and we would need to attempt to curb this desire.

For her second birthday she got a musical bear.  It played the Happy Birthday song and she would press it over and over, singing along with it.  After a few hours the bear mysteriously  ”disappeared”…
